For Li-ion 3.6/3.7 V and LiFePO4 3.2 V batteries, you can choose from currents: 1× 3 A / 2× 2 A / 4× 1 A / 4× 0.5 A / 4× 0.25 A (0.25 A is suitable for low-capacity cells). To fully utilize the performance, a PD 20 W adapter is recommended; with a weaker adapter, the maximum available current may be limited.
The XTAR VX4 v2 charger is designed as a single solution for various battery chemistries. Thanks to intelligent identification, it minimizes the risk of incorrect charging and performs a quick stop once full charge is reached, helping preserve battery performance and lifespan.
For selected battery types, it also allows manual setting of the charging current according to the number of inserted cells and their type. For Li-ion 1.5 V and Ni-MH 1.2 V batteries, it always charges at 0.5 A. For Li-ion 3.6/3.7 V and LiFePO4 3.2 V batteries, you can choose from multiple currents, including a low current suitable for smaller-capacity cells.
To fully utilize high charging currents, a power adapter compatible with PD 20 W is recommended. The charger will also work with a weaker adapter, but it may limit the ability to charge at higher currents.
