Using the large wheel on the control tower, children can easily raise and lower the bridge. The movement is accompanied by an entertaining clicking sound for more realistic play.
The raised bridge creates enough space for taller cars and trucks to pass along the road beneath the tracks. The yellow barrier helps organize traffic.
The bridge is compatible with major wooden railway systems, and the two included track pieces make it easy to incorporate into the play track.
The Hape drawbridge brings new opportunities for adventurous play to the world of wooden railways. Children operate the bridge using the large wheel on top of the tower. This simple mechanism raises or lowers the red bridge deck and produces a pleasant clicking sound as it moves.
When the bridge is raised, simply open the yellow barrier and let a truck or another tall vehicle pass along the road. The package includes two track sections for convenient connection to the railway. This accessory is compatible with major wooden railway systems and supports creative play, imagination and fine motor skill development.
